FUTURE TENSE - 2os anos

Simple Future has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to." Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they often express two very different meanings. These different meanings might seem too abstract at first, but with time and practice, the differences will become clear. Both "will" and "be going to" refer to a specific time in the future. FORM Will

Examples:

You will help him later.
Will you help him later?
You will not help him later.

FORM Be Going To

[am/is/are + going to + verb]

Examples:

You are going to meet Jane tonight.
Are you going to meet Jane tonight?
You are not going to meet Jane tonight.

USO1  - "Will" para expressar uma ação voluntária

"Will" often suggests that a speaker will do something voluntarily. A voluntary action is one the speaker offers to do for someone else. Often, we use "will" to respond to someone else's complaint or request for help. We also use "will" when we request that someone help us or volunteer to do something for us. Similarly, we use "will not" or "won't" when we refuse to voluntarily do something.

Examples:

I will send you the information when I get it.
I will translate the email, so Mr. Smith can read it.

USO 2  - "Will" para Expressar uma promessa

"Will" é geralmente usado como promessa.

Examples:

I will call you when I arrive.
If I am elected President of the United States, I will make sure everyone has access to inexpensive health insurance.

USO 3  - "Be going to" - Expressar um plano

"Be going to" expresses that something is a plan. It expresses the idea that a person intends to do something in the future. It does not matter whether the plan is realistic or not.

Examples:

He is going to spend his vacation in Hawaii.
She is not going to spend her vacation in Hawaii.
A: When are we going to meet each other tonight?
B: We are going to meet at 6 PM.

Uso 4  - "Will" or "Be Going to" - expressar uma previsão

Both "will" and "be going to" can express the idea of a general prediction about the future. Predictions are guesses about what might happen in the future. In "prediction" sentences, the subject usually has little control over the future and therefore USES 1-3 do not apply. In the following examples, there is no difference in meaning.

Examples:

The year 2222 will be a very interesting year.
The year 2222 is going to be a very interesting year.
John Smith will be the next President.

IMPORTANTE

In the Simple Future, it is not always clear which USE the speaker has in mind. Often, there is more than one way to interpret a sentence's meaning.

No Future in Time Clauses

Like all future forms, the Simple Future cannot be used in clauses beginning with time expressions such as: when, while, before, after, by the time, as soon as, if, unless, etc. Instead of Simple Future, Simple Present is used.fonte:englishpage

FUTURE TENSE - 2os anos

O futuro simples é identificado pelo uso do auxiliar “will”. Nas frases afirmativas, esse auxiliar deve vir sempre após o sujeito. 
Ex.:
She will graduate next year. (Ela se formará no ano que vem). Bob and Carol will travel to Japan next month. (Bob e Carol viajarão para o Japão no próximo mês).

I will send you some Christmas cards. (Eu lhe enviarei alguns cartões de natal). It will rain a lot next week. (Choverá muito na semana que vem).

Nas frases interrogativas, basta inverter o auxiliar, colocando-o no início da frase.
Will Jack come to Jill’s farewell party? (O Jack virá para a festa de despedida do Jill?). Will you go to Susan’s wedding? (Você irá ao casamento da Susan?). Will they move to Ireland next year? (Eles se mudarão para a Irlanda no ano que vem?). Will the teacher give us some points for that extra exercise that we did? (A professora nos dará alguns pontos por aquele exercício extra que nós fizemos?).
Para as frases negativas, deve-se fazer uso do “will not” após o sujeito da frase. Se preferir, pode-se utilizar a forma abreviada “won’t”.
She won’t sing at the talent show. (Ela não cantará no show de talentos). I will not travel to England next month. (Eu não viajarei para a Inglaterra no próximo mês). We will not build a house. (Nós não iremos construir uma casa). He will not graduate on this semester. (Ele não se formará nesse semestre).Fonte:brasilescola

FUTURE TENSE - 2os anos

Há duas maneiras de construir uma oração no futuro na Língua Inglesa. Uma delas é quando nos referimos a um futuro próximo; a outra é quando nos reportamos a um futuro imediato, ou seja, a velha mania do brasileiro de usar uma frase no futuro (eu vou fazer isso, ela vai fazer aquilo etc).O Future tense é o futuro próximo; já o future with Going to é a ação que a gente acabou de determinar que realizará logo logo.(veja logo abaixo)

FUTURE TENSE – Usamos os auxiliares WILL ou SHALL. Lembre-se de que na tradução elas não significarão nada. Apenas indicam que o verbo está no futuro. SHALL é usado apenas para I ou We (I and somebody). É comum o uso das expressões TOMORROW, SOON, NEXT..Exemplos:

I will-shall visit my mother next weekend!
He will travel tomorrow (ele viajará amanhã)

Há uma forma contraída para will, ‘ll: I'll do it tomorrow.

Negative forms: WILL NOT = WON’T SHALL NOT= SHAN’T

Numa frase interrogativa basta colocar o WILL – SHALL no início.

FUTURE WITH GOING TO

Como já foi dito, exprime uma ação futura diante de outra já tomada.Para entender melhor veja um exemplo.

- Eu gostaria de fazer uma lasanha, mas o tomate acabou!

- Não se preocupe mãe. Eu vou comprar no supermercado!

Atente para o uso do verbo TO BE ensinado no 1o ano. Os verbos Am – IS – ARE serão usados de acordo com o sujeito da frase.

Ex.: Look at the sky! It is going to rain.

I am going to visit the museum.

Forma Interrogativa – Am – is – are iniciarão a frase. Na negativa, lembre de usar not após aqueles verbos.

Ex.: Is Jack going to present MTV Awards?

Helen is not going to marry with me.
